The love of football with Yandex!
We launched ‘‘Love of Football’’ micro site, where football fans downloaded customized Yandex browsers with their team colors to make searches there, so that both their team and they won.
Football fans made theirs searches on the customized browsers with their team colors on this Yandex Love of Football project. Showing their love for their teams on this platform, the users also contributed to their teams financially and added a whole another level to the eternal rivalry.
On the micro site, the fans took the rivalry of their teams to the digital platform and started a contest there. They could also follow this contest on the micro site. Moreover, via the micro site, they got detailed information on their team such as scores and match dates.
The fans of the three big clubs have shown a lot of interest in the campaign by downloading customized Yandex browsers of their teams. Even though they couldn’t physically be at the games, they have shown their support via this platform on Yandex.
